2nd GEOSS 2023

This year, the 2nd MGS-GeoSS Conference will be hosted by GeoSS in Singapore. The two-day event aims to provide a platform for geotechnical professionals in Malaysia and Singapore to share their knowledge and expertise in the field. It is also an excellent networking platform and collaboration between the two societies.

Sustainable urban development was the theme of the first conference, and this topic will remain as the key subject matter of the second conference. New challenges have also emerged in both countries. These include tackling climate change, environmental sustainability, achieving carbon neutrality, and holistic considerations of cost, time, and safety, among other issues.

To continue the tradition, this conference will provide the perfect opportunity for the exchange of know-how and lessons learned between Singaporean and Malaysian geotechnical practitioners, academicians, and authorities, and is certainly not to be missed.
